Silly Sarongs….discover the fun!

This delightful resort collection was inspired by designer Donna Prescott's time abroad in tropical Guam, where beach life was preeminent. Sarongs were part of every island girl's wardrobe but Donna noticed the young girls struggled with the abundance of fabric in a full-sized sarong. So the idea of a kid-sized sarong developed on the beach - long before husband and wife team Robert and Donna Prescott began their company, r&d int'l. inc. in 1998.

Today Silly Sarongs offers sarong sets, casual resort clothing, and fashionable accessories for mothers and daughters ...and even grandmothers!

This beach-inspired collection is the second clothing line for r&d int'l. inc. The first line is the popular Young Colors line which offers custom, colorful, quality clothing and accessories for kids. The newest addition to the family is Frumpy Rumps, an infant collection of diaper covers, diaper bags, and accessories. All three lines share the same goals of providing custom, quality clothing and accessory lines that are made for today's children. The vision of creating original, fun, children's products that was rooted in the couples' extensive travels abroad has grown into clothing lines offered by specialty stores and resorts in 47 states, as well as several tropical island destinations.
